This chapter is part of the free e-book 'Basics of Search Engine Marketing', published in May 2005. Off-site optimization is a process that happens outside of the website. As I mentioned earlier in this paper, search engines rely heavily on linking as part of their algorithms. It is not surprise then that hyperlinks are the most important aspect of off-site optimization.
