It is also possible to utilize the Internet for marketing purposes without a website, but the options are rather limited. A company that does not want to spend money on a website can consider the following options to supplement its marketing plan: Internet Yellow Pages (IYPs), pay per call and vertical or geographical directories. Although IYPs and online directories are not directly related to search engine marketing, many search results are dominated by these types of web pages as illustrated in figure 2.1.
